No cycle path available through Barrhead in either direction - dual carriageway could have cycle lane put in.
Glasgow Road B767 into Eaglesham is too narrow for existing traffic and unsafe for cyclists, particularly for school children. The pavement is ofter obstructed by hedging.
Potholes all over the cycle way all down the westbound carrageway cycle way. Cannot be avoided on this fast decent into Eaglesham
Pavement unsuitable for dual use as pedestrians/family and road cycling. Road needs speed restriction if it is to be safe
The Capelrig Way links through Crookfur to a couple of schools. But stops when it reaches Capelrig Road.
