@ERsafecycling @Visit_Whitelee @EastRenCouncil @EastRenPolice @polscotrpu This was it again today. Is anything going to be done about this before someone is killed? https://t.co/EHZ7FcgRfs
Signs on the Capelrig Way at one junction, but the previous junction had none and the main path diverges from the path back to Capelrig Road.
The Capelrig Way links through Crookfur to a couple of schools. But stops when it reaches Capelrig Road.
@helenpidd @GoBikeGlasgow Totally pointless cycle lane. Same cars there. Every. Single. Day. There is a car park behind the building too. This requires you to move out into gas traffic who are trying to turn left in a few metres. Near White ... [more]
Hi @EastRenCouncil , could you arrange to have this traffic information sign repositioned so that it doesn't block the cycle lane for the next 6 weeks? Its current position is creating conflict between people cycling and buses/cars etc. T ... [more]
The farm at Patterton was provided with a bridge over the M77 motorway when it was built, but now the farm has been abandoned, the bridge is blocked by a gate at the far side, preventing access to the Dams to Darnley Country Park.
According to Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, the Patterton Park & Ride site was not just for Patterton rail station but was to become "one of the major access points in the [Dams to Darnley] country park". But now the farm has been a ... [more]
Also told there's no space for cycle infra here in Giffnock... :/ #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/8nTB6K2zfs
More than 3 hours cycling around Glasgow today for #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 can be summed up by this last photo I took on the way home... https://t.co/kVBWg73aaP
Driver was nice enough to stage a dooring for me on Kilmarnock Road to demonstrate how bad the lane is. Thanks :) #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/KaPeE2qVWV
Tale of 2 councils: Part 5 Then we get to the border of @GlasgowCC… and it literally vanishes. #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/cMpTRYNaaF
Tale of 2 councils: Part 3 East Ren let down by this poor shared-use path through Govan… which nobody uses. #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/inGGil3vk6
Tale of 2 councils: Part 2 Not perfect through Mearns - East Ren said not enough room to segregate… but isomething #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/TD7jrqJasn
Tale of 2 councils: Part 1 Nice segregated lane runs ~8 miles through Ayrshire then East Ren to south of Glasgow #GlasgowCycleInfraDay17 https://t.co/aQSHwb9zvS
Haw @EastRenCouncil your bike lanes in the door zone are bad enough but this really is taking the piss! Move the sign please. https://t.co/6BHe6XluMf
The path from Snypes Reservoir isn't really suitable for cycling, plus there's a gate to climb over. But not too far to walk.
The main junctions along the Spine Road are all signposted. Hopefully once the signs have had time to weather in a bit they will become easier to read.
This car has been blocking the shared use path on Neilston Rd for 4 days running. Can you help, @EastRenCouncil? https://t.co/YWiGTNsKRu
Steps replaced with ramp by Sustrans-funded project on path linking Carnwadric with Thornliebank. Signed route continues to Giffnock.
Covered cycle parking at the Whitelee Wind Farm. There are also showers and an outdoor water tap available.
The Eaglesham Moor Road has cycle lanes each way, but since the road itself is only two lanes wide, cars are driven in the cycle lanes routinely, as if they are not there.
Vilnius-style cycle parking in East Renfrewshire! This pathetic excuse for a cycle parking stand is next to the café in Rouken Glen Park.
Not cycle parking, but this looks more like cycle parking than the actual cycle parking does! (See #41232)
Flooding at the ford Taken on Saturday 11th October 2008; previous 24 hours had been very wet. More info on the Hole ford at http://www.wetroads.co.uk/lanarkshire.htm
Rouken Glen Park Visitor Centre Park rangers' and visitors' centre, also showing some of the line-segregated route around park
Two cycle parking stands and two lockers at Barrhead railway station (one stand is hidden by lamppost)
